| |  We had opt that in our farm.
Under one artificial shade, we have tried to prepare such fertilizer, but got some what less worm population n eggs number too, due to frogs...they have created lote of problems.Finally we closed that unit, because it was demanding to much expenses to build some good area for practice.
For kitchen garden its nice...!

| |  I found plans for a worm farm online using store-bought totes that can be kept in the house. I have a spare room that stays cool thruout the year and keep them in there. My houseplants love it. Any extra I add to my planting holes when I plant my seedlings in the spring garden.

| |  I would love to do something like that, but unfortunately I can't see my family letting me keep food garbage for worms to eat... let alone raising the worms. I would love to dig up the back yard and pick up worms but again, my family would not let me... they won't even let me have a pet snake! LOL.
