Changed from the first season

Yes, I think so too. Though, for me, the changes made me love CSI more.

Someone tagged your discussion really strangely, mrsturner, I'm not sure if there is any way for you to edit it. You may want to name the show you are talking about in your question in the future, just to avoid confusing people like the first gentleman who responded. Although, since I love CSI, I knew exactly what you were talking about. I think your right that they have changed the focus of the show. I think that it was easier to dazzle us with all the technical stuff when the show first came out because the public hadn't really seen how things like this were done. But now, there is a glut of this kind of show,and watching people run every test in the lab could be kind of boring after 7 seasons, no matter how good the soundtrack is. They do show us some of that still, but usually only when it is a new technology or something they rarely use. I did like it a bit better when it was just the team trying to recreate or figure out a crime together (the first episode I ever saw was the one where the guy was killed on the plane and they recreated the situation, still one of my favorites). And your right, I don't think they really let the CSI's question suspects or go watch them be arrested (wouldn't they have other things to do?), I think that is all for our benifit and to streamline the show, rather than adding in 10 more characters who would actaully do those things in real life. Still my favorite show though (well, tied with Battlestar Galactica)!
