 Imagine a situation that the Jews faced during reign of Hitler . You are under such a regim and you have to choose only one from among the three - your soul friend, your nation and your religion . You have to give up any two of them and live with the rest one . Otherwise you will be killed .Which two will you give up?

1.  emeraldisle (8978) | 3 years ago |  I hope I am never in that postion. I know it's possible but I would hate to have to make that choice. However if I was I'd have to leave country and friend behind even though it would be the most painful thing I did. Staying and trying to save one or the other could ultimately destroy me. I could always find a new home and life does go on. One meets new people and one can rebuild over the rubble that is left of your life. Faith can aid you in rebuilding. It can give you the stregnth to hold on. I would do all I could before hand to try and save my friend with me. If at all possible I would do that. Perhaps I could find a way to keep both with me.
