Which Cartoon show will you not want your child to watch?  

Spongebob is for older children isn't it. I am out of touch now as my kids are older, but yes there were certain cartoons I didn't like them watching such as Ed, Edd and Eddy. Although not for their sake but for mine as I cannot stand them. Even today my son at 13 yrs will watch the latter and I have to go out the room as it is so manic.

I do agree that some cartoons nowadays are overloaded with noise and are over stimulating. I don't think kids get alot of quality quiet time anymore as even everywhere we go we are bombarded with music or TV.

At only 1 yr, your baby needs mellow and repetitive sounds and visual stimulation not a mad character such as spongebob.lol!!

I would not allow a young child to watch South Park. Heck, most adults I know wouldn't watch that program!! Talk about PROFANITY....hard to believe those little @#$%'s are supposed to be in third grade! LOL

i woudn't wantthem to watch the simpsons,the family guy,spongebob squarepants,mr.bean,powerpuff and all violent anime cartoons.they are not yet for toddlers. theonly channel i allow them to watch is nickolodeon and disney playhouse.i don't allow them to watch cartoon network,some of them are too violent and uses harsh words.

I would not let them watch south park, the simpsons and some cartoons at the cartoon network channel (philippines), i find them very violent, im also not into power puff too. Though they look cute and they are little girls they are always angry, i dont want that anger to rub off to my kids. Really miss Sesame Street and The Electric Company, these were shows that i grew up with.

I don't allow Spngebob, The Wiggles or anything o noisy.

My daughter is only allowed one hour of tv a night. She is allowed a movie on the weekend. The only tv that she watches is PBS. I refuse to allow crap like Sponge Bob in the house. Kids have the rest of their lives to eat horribly and watch terrible tv and movies. While I can still control it I will not allow her to start now.

My kids know that they can watch EVERYTHING on the Disney Channel. On the other hand, cetain shows at Nickelodeon are NOT allowed in our home and the kids know how to screen what are "good" cartoons and "bad" cartoons without having me tell them. Nick Jr is fine...I let my toddler watch that the entire morning. But when the older siblings come home, Nick is NOT allowed to keep playing in the late afternoon. The shows there are SO not for children!

I don't like my kids watching cartoon network shows---they are all fight scenes.
