How is billiards different from pool? / myLot

I have played one of the game but i don't know what it was a billiard or a pool.I just enjoyed it.

Just the spelling. It's all the same game my friend. At least that's what I know.

I didn't knew that both are same.I thought one of the games have big board and one has small board.And some reules are different in games.

isn't it just the same?? i like playing pool.. sometimes real and sometime in PC.. but still i like to play for fun.. thats all
