| 3. 66jerseygirl (1976) | 2 years ago |  I love horror movies although I do admit that in the last few years I have been shying away from modern horror movies and going back to the classics.I am not very happy with the modern horror flicks.They are more interested in seeing how gory they can be instead of being scary.I was under the impression that horror movies were supposed to scare,not gross people out.
I did see the grudge though and was really disappointed.I was excited to see it and what a let down when I did.it did not scare me at all.I am debating on whether or not to see grudge 2 as it does look better than the first butlooks can be deceiving.

| 4. ma_belle (1250) | 2 years ago |  I like horror movies, but I prefer older ones, like ones from the 70s and 80s. My favorite horror film is The Exorcist. I also like Poltergeist. I feel that older movies allowed more for the imagination and didn't use stupid gory scenes to scare the watcher. Instead, they genuinely scare the viewer by utilizing suspense and scary situations.

| 5. Schala (51) | 2 years ago |  I dislike horror movies for the simple fact that I scare very easily. I have a very active imagination, and I scare myself. Frankly I don't need help. That being said, I had a roommate in college that was a horror movie affectionado, so I have seen my fair share of the genre. The scariest one I've seen was the remake of "The Amityville Horror." It was really close to the real story, that it freaked me out. I haven't watched any horror movies lately, so I can't really weigh in on newer movies.

| 10. happymommy3 (975) | 2 years ago |  I personally woudn't say it's one of the greatest but I really like it. I just barely saw grudge 2 a couple of days ago. I think the first movie was scarier but I loved them both. I just hate the endings! That to me is what ruins a good movie, I mean of course the first one's ending meant there would be a grudge 2 but oh, the ending on the second one I don't think was a good ending. Who knows, maybe grudge 3? Can't see what else they can think of for that one though:)
