I think jealousy is also healthy in a relationship, but not to the extent that it should cause frequent petty quarrels. I would be wondering if my partner really does love me if he wont feel even a little jealous when he would see me with too close with other guys.
But i do not agree that its mostly the reason of break-ups. People split because, but not exclusive to,differences in personality, out of love, third party, lies, mistrust or betrayal and more.
For me, i think more people break up because of lies and mistrust. It does not feel good to be betrayed.
remember Ashanti's song ? It goes .. ' whats love? its about us, its about trust babe..."

No, of course not. There are other grounds for a break up other than jealousy. The best one I can name is incompatibility, then comes having fallen out of love, the relocation of a loved one to a far away place, the meddling of relatives who do not approve of the relationship, so many more... you will be encountering stories from movies, books and real life experiences of friends and relatives aside from yours and you can add them all to the list.

No, i wont agree.. jeolousy is one but not the reason why relationship wont work.. it also includes communication, acceptance and forgiveness. If one of those wont work out, relationship will mostly will fall out of love instantly.
