Well the rqcing season is just around the corner. I love going to the local tracks here in Minnesota. I love taking my 2 grandsons also. They love the Eve Of Destruction nights. Thats when they have figure 8 races, School Bus races, Monster Truck competition and usually a special crazy type race. I mostly go to Elko Speedway here about 55 miles from my house. I prefer 1/4 mile tracks paved. Sometimes I go to Princeton or Cedar Lake for the dirt track Late Models but mostly it's asphalt tracks I visit. Elko has remodeled in the last couple years & it's starting to look like a larger venue & they also have a Stars Night. they bring in 4 or more Nacsar / Busch stars. Ive met Greg Biffle, Jeff Gordon Tony Stewart and many other stars. They autograph items for an hour or so. For an extra cost you can buy a ticket to have dinner with them in a limited 100 seat tent. Then later in the night the climb into the local Late Models and race with the local drivers. A fun night for a cheap price also. Well I'm done rambling about Racing season now on to myLot. HAHAHA.

Thanks for the reply. I have only been to large venue NASCAR tracks a few times as the tickets very costly. That's understandable though. But I hit the local tracks around me very often. You & your hubby would love it. It's a fun time for a small amount also. I go by myself & spend maybe $40 for ticket food & gas. I buy a souvenior ever so often also. The small tracks also have some wierd races you may love also as I stated above. Anyhow thanks for the reply & talk to your hubby & see if he's up to a fun filled time for a small amount of cash. My wife loves going also. When & if you do go I'd suggest sitting up a ways in the seats as you get hit with rubber debri from tires screaching. Also the smell can get to you after awhile. Other than that it's a blast I think. Thanks again. have fun in all you do here & there. Bye.
