uterin, or ovarian cysts

I have been having sharp pains on the lower right hand side of my stomache. They occur mostly a few days before, and the week after my period. I have a dr.s appt. on 7-7-06. Anybody have any clue as to what could be going on w/ me?

Sounds like just cramping pain to me.

If the pain goes away after your period then it may be PMS symptom.
