How useful is Public Relations?

I've not used one before but I think it should be a good idea. What I will do is to not engage any first but rather ask for a few quotations from different companies.

Once you do that, you will have a good understanding on what the PR launch entails. You might then be able to outsource certain components rather than outsourcing the whole turnkey project to a PR agency which might cost a bomb.
