|  I got married to a US Navy when i was 21 years old,that was 3 years ago.We met through phone, he happened to be one of my cousin's close friend whose also a US Navy.I was a kinda immature on that time.I though marriage is just like a birthday party that once the party is done,everything will go back to normal but then my relatives and friends made me realize that it will be totally different after and i'm not yet ready.I wanted to back off but i couldnt do it coz everything was ready, our sponsors are mostly politicians so i was thinking of my familys reputation too.My US Navy Filipino guy is divorced, with three children back in San Diego where he based.I liked him coz hes so nice and kind not only to me but to my entire family.
When we got married, he is actually not supposed to be in Philippines because the US Navy was on red alert on that time (May 2004), so theyre not allowed to travel in the Philippines until the election is ended.On that time, he received an information that hes uncle in Hawaii has died, so he told the Navy that he will attend his uncle's funeral for 5 days.He spent in Hawaii for only a day and he flew here in the Philippines and we got married. Two days after we got married he flew back to San Diego.I lived by myself in a nice townhouse here in Cebu,I had a 30thou/month from him.But that didnt last long,he stopped sending me for 5 months because he was out for deployment.Fortunately, my aunt paid my rental dues, i moved to a smaller and cheaper apartment.He went back and send me 20thou/month.Something happened to me one night, the brother of the owner of the place i was renting peeped on me, i cried and called my husband asking him if i could move in to a safer place.He got mad at me, he told me to just report to the police and he's fed up with so many problems.So he asked for annulment,i was surprised coz hes reason is so shallow.But then i agreed coz i never felt that i have a husband.Inside our 3 years of marriage, i only met him twice.So theres aint no husband-wife connection at all.Now i'm living on my own without receiving any from him for half a year now.I kept on sending him an e-mail regarding our annulment but he wont respond to any of my mails and calls. I asked my aunt whose sons and daughter are also in US Navy about my husband's whereabouts coz they live in same city.My aunt told me that my husband has just bought a new house and the Navy increases his salary.Once a Navy is married the Commanding Officer will increase his salary because 75% of his salary will go to the wife. My conclusion is that he used me to get my share from the Navy, He always said that my petition papers was still in process but actually there is no papers that been processed. My Navy friends told me that a Navy cant just easily get married a Filipino,they still have to follow the Navy and the US Embassy procedures. As far as i can remember , he didnt follow any procedures.
I'm confused on what to do, i want to be annuled soon so i could go on with my life.My visa has been denied coz of my status.
