Black history month  | |  Do you agree with having a black history month? Why should they be the only race to "acknowledge" their history. Every race has a history so I totally disagree with there being a black history month.
What is your opinion on this subject?

There are so many things that the black people have done for America that nobody gives them creid for.As a matter of fact just about everything that has been invented has been by the help of a black person. Dry cleaning by Thomas Jenning,Lewis Latimore worked closely with Alexander Graham Bell,some claim that it was actually he that invented the telephone.Garrett Morgan invented the gas mask and the traffic light. Charles Drew Created the first clock in the USA.I could go on and on, the list is endless, So many of the top athletes are black. They play a huge role in our society. I do believe we owe 1 month to them.

I totally disagree with the whole "we owe one month to them" statement, due to the fact that there are so many races that are completely ignored. Yet, they have great accomplishments under their belts as well.
