How many parents are single cause their kids dont want them to date?

well i've got a good friend he is single but for his kids sake he won't date anyone, I think he is in insane,he is about 40 and as friend he is a good and honest lad too,but i don't think this is right give up all his life and right for his kids,shouldn't they be happy for their dad/mum tobe happy too?i know he loves them too much but...i know a girl can wait to have a date with him and he knows it too but he won't date her.i just I wondered how many single parents are like him.

Dating is up to the parent. Only keeping the kids in mind. Relationships are a natura part of life and to quit living is plain silly. Children can learn so much be our example and for him to deprive himself of adult company is unfair actually to the kids.
Being single should last as long as it takes to become a whole and functioning person again. Urge your friend to talk with his kids and then go ask that lady out on a date. Dating is harmless. Just don't bring her home for fun until they are married. Another chance to learn the good ways of life.

this father is crazy does he think when the children are old enough to date themselves they will think of him?not a chance they are spoiled and selfish he should go out and have a life because if not he will grow old and alone and his kids wont care dont let him fool himself I know been there and done that and now i am so lonely it hurts and where are the kids Oh they tell me they have lives of thier own to live!
