Is there anyone out there Italian or not who wants to share what they know or learn about Italian culture? I'm very interested in answering questions anyone may have or possibly asking anyone out there about what they think about Italian culture in Italy as well as in America.

I love different cultures. I love Europe in general. I knew a few Italians but not very well. They are so nice and their food is to die for. I have always wanted to go to Italy. I've seen many pictures and it's just gorgeous there. It's like a little fantasy when you look over the water and see the nice ethnic buildings and beautiful architecture. What do you know about Italians or Italian culture? Are you Italian? just wondering. What can you share with us about Italian culture/people?

Si, Sono Italiano. My mom is Italian and I have been there many times. I love it. I want to go again I just need to find some friends to go along. We own a house out there so that is no problem. It is just getting up the money for the tickets. Lol

That's awesome. It is quite expensive. Not as much for you since your family has a house there. What parts have you been to? Is it as beautiful as it looks on tv and pictures?

More beautiful. It is expensive because I spend every time on clothes and fun. But anyone who would go with me would stay in our home. Some of my friends are saving up,. The more the merrier yeah?

I did most of my growing up in a small Italian community. So, while I do not have any Italian blood in my heritage, I can not help but feel connected to the Italians and feel a homesickness for Italy (where I have never been) I have been to Spain though, and I really loved the villages, and customs - I long for that simplicity, ethnicity and tradition that is fading all too fast from American lives. One of my absolute favorite movies is La Bella e Vita (I think I got that right)

That is so awesome. We should def. Chat a bit here on Mylot. Talk about Italy and I can tell you a little bit about the town where I was born. Also, I love La Bella Vita and I believe that if I work hard that the haters will not be able to keep me in the situation I'm in now. That is why I have the La Bella Vita tattooed on my forearm. So I can remind myself and everyone that no matter what they do it is still amazing to be alive. It is a beautiful life.

Italy is the place I would live in.... I spent a few weeks there when I was 18. I love, and miss Italy so much. I like the Italian lifestyle, I like the way they are thinking, I like the language - it is like a music. I love the way as the Italians gesticulate when they are speaking, Capisci? I know the Italian fever. Hahaha. I do not like that so much. Italy is a wonder. I do not know the Italian culture though.
