Oscar!

I was watching the Academy Award programe on TV last night. The show was interesting and enjoyable. I think Ellen did a good job while hosting the show. I also liked the performance of Celine Dion. I think who got the Oscar for different catagories they really deserve that very important award in the movie industry. Did you watch the show and enjoy it? Did your favourite star got the Academy?

Did not watch, Ellen according to what we heard did a snoozy job. Heard that Celine did a real good though. I would have liked to see her as she is these days. Certainly she sang as good as always. Don't know who won except for Forrest Whitaker. We really like his work. Glad that you got to watch and thought it good. Thanks for sharing.

I didn't see tha TV about Oscar but I read something about on the newspapers. I am absoluterlu for the spcial wawards to Ennio Morricone. The music of Morricone was and is an important part of many movies all around the world.

I do not usually watch the Oscars, because I think it is very boring and I have not heard of most of the mocies represented. I watched this year only because of Ellen. I adore her and am a bg fan, so I knew from her regular talk show that she was hosting. I think without her it would have been another boring night at the Oscars for me.

No I didn't watch it, didn't even know it was on! I'm a bit detached from the world lately and anyway i haven't watched it in years, I juts read the results and see parts of the ceremony later on..

I didn't watch it. I'm not really bothered either, although it was great to hear that it was good night British talent. Also the older talented actors and actresses got there deserved spotlight, for some of the best acting. Kudos, ~Joey

As I said in another discussion I hadn't even realised the Oscars had happened .. I don't think we get an 'Oscar' show here (UK) .. if we do I certainly haven't noticed .. but we do usually get a bit of footage on the news .. haven't even seen that this year ..

hello friend, i have nothing against the oscar, but to me i dont find it intersting at all i dont know why, i find it kinda of boring, so most of the time i dont even watch it, it just me i guess :(
