illegal immigrants

i didnt know that, but im not really surprised. the unfortunate thing is that americans hate the illegal immigrants coming from mexico, but they are doing the exact same thing. what's ironic is that a lot of these illegal immigrants do jobs that most americans wouldn't even DARE doing. i guess that's a common thing for immigrants in general. i seriously dont think the US would survive without immigrants, illegal or not. yet they make such a big deal about all the immigrants in the country. they were all immigrants in the beginning, whether it was back then or now makes no difference.

I am glad we are ripping your country off. I guess you know how it feels to be sucked dry. Yeah while your people come here getting free services I have to wait and get denied medical care and whatever assitance I need for a low income family. Yeah that's right your people come here without a social security number and get free credit cards while I have to work my butt off to get one, or else I don't get a credit card. Yeah so you the poster who started this topic, you should understand how a hard working tax payer like me should feel. So I guess we are even!

I am not familiar with the laws of Mexico as far as work permits etc. But the Americans you are speaking of must at least be there legally as you say that they are there on visas.

However, I do know about the laws of Belize, a Central American Country which borders Mexico on the south. In order for a non resident to work in Belize they have to file extensive paperwork and pay a large fee to apply for a Work Permit for a particular type of employment. The work that they are applying for can not be work that can be easily filled by a Belizean. Certain types of employment are reserved for Belizeans. This work permit and fee must be renewed once a year. You must also obtain a Belizean Social Security Card and pay into their social security system.

The Immigration and Social Security Officers there are very strict. They check the businesses regularly to make sure that their employees have work permits and Social Security cards.
The penalties for breaking these laws are fines and deportation which they do ENFORCE. Particular attention is paid to American employees and business owners.

Yes, people do work there illegally but, they know what they are risking and you don't hear them crying that their rights are being violated when they are caught and deported.

Illegal immigrants are a nightmare for every government in every country of the world exculding Africa. I am from Pakistan and there are many illegal immigrants here too from Afghanistan which have settled here from 1980's when Russia invaded Afganistan. Now Pakistan Government is trying its level best to send back all the illegal immigrants.
