Cleaning Sippy Cups  

By hand and in the dishwasher, But the pictures always fade off for me as well. I think its normal ware and tear, After all they still work well after over a year of use, so for me its worth it.
If you dont want him walking around in public with a sippy that is faded, maybe you can buy a few that are JUST for leaving the house, and let him use the older ones at home.
I know within a few washes though the pictures faded off of mine. But then i like to buy cheaper ones, i dont think my son needs insulated cups, and you can get a set of 2 spillpoofs for 3-5 dollers in my area. So for me its not a bad investment to buy a few more when he needs some. I like to buy plain ones in bright colors as well. We are learning colors at the moment so its a good thing to have on hand :)

Try using some clear nail polish over the picture, or even some kind of spray on sealer. Make sure you cover the cup part so none of that stuff gets in it. You can find some good stuff at your local arts and crafts store.

I used to have that problem now it aint as bad because this older lady showed me this trick where u put a small amount of rice or macaroni in side the cup with a lil bit of dish soap and water shake it and the inside is clean and a quick wipe with a soapy rag fixes the out side and good rinse and done...that way the patterns on the cup aint sitting in the water soaking and doesnt get removed as easy....I also don't like my child walking around with a ugly cup but once the picture is gone it makes me feel better if it does tend to come off LOL

Here we do not use sippy cups. Instead the usual tea cups are used for giving milk to babies. Yes, it is very expensive & sippy cups if spoilt surely brings a problem. Washing them should be with soft brush & powder in hot water preferably. That will avoid the sippy cups from spoiling.
