Dear friends, here is an article by Brad wetzler. Very interesting. "Some animals actually do favour one side for certian tasks. Scientists believe that humpback whales bottom feed on their right sides. Lemurs tend to be lefties when it comes to grabbing their grub. And in a recent study, toads who has tape stuck to their snouts usually used their right forepaw to get it off. Viopsychologist William D.Hopkins explains " For animals and humans alike, the nervous system is more efficient if the two halves of the brain assume separate functions." The chimpanzee, for instance, holds a branch up with his left hand and picks the fruit off with his right. Now what do you think about that?

That is very interesting. I had not thought about that before. But if we have left handed and right handed people wouldn't it stand to reason that animals could also favor one side as opposed to the other. That is a excellent question. It bares some thinking on.
