|  i was doing it this afternoon and wondering if others also do it. i find it really helpful. the pillow covers remain stiff adn last longer. also they dont come off the pillow. they are probably the onyl yhing that i starch so regularly, i dont starch clothes regularly...ok so do u?

| |  I already experience starching my pillows because my mom says that it is good on it and make it more white. And when i see the final i totally like it because it comfortable I don't know how to describe it. But since we are experiencing summer here and it is so hot I discontinue putting starch on them because it so hot to hug it..I never tried it on my clothes because i still want that my clothes are soft.

| |  No, I will never starch anything. I have sensitive skin and I can never stand having pillowcases, bedsheets or clothes starched because I will get the shudders all the time and I won't be able to move! Since young, I hated it when my mom changes my pillowcases, sheets and certain clothes. I think only people who experience the same feeling as myself will understand. Starched things feel so prickly and rough against my skin so much so that I try to move as little as possible so that it doesn't get to rub my skin, lol.

| |  I have cotton pillowcases and although they need caring for I have never really though of starching them,but I can see what you mean ,but the only thing that I would think about is that the starch may make the pillowcases hard to the touch and therefore hard to the skin,but maybe im thinking totally wrongly here,but they must look crisp and nice.
