do you keep all your children's art work. i've been keeping them all so far but everyone says once she goes to school i'll have way too much.
for now i date all her drawings and paintings and i put them in those plastic sheet protectors and put them in a binder. it's cute to look at it and see how she gets better and better from the first sribbles to the actual shapes and people.

oh i keep them too. I have created a whole file of his work and now some of the selected few I am going to get them framed and hang them inhis room. I have a cousine who had got her son's first letter too framed and has it displayed in her bedroom wall. I often stick his drawings on the wall with tape and we have named it walll of fame and my son loves it that way. These are memories and treaures of his child hood , keep them safe and carefully.

I did the same things in the "early" days, but once my son has started school, it is impossible to keep them all. He went to preschool last year just 2 days a week for 3 hours each day and I have one of those rubbermaid plastic tubs FULL of stuff. Now, in Pre-K, 5 days a week all day long, I really usually just keep the real important things and the small things just go in the trash. It breaks my heart to throw some of his stuff away, but there is NO way I could keep it all.

I used to keep them but with three kids it gets hard and you run out of room! I still find things every now and then like cards they made and it is really awesome to take a trip down memory lane! Try and keep your favorites!

I try to keep some of it, but once they start school, they bring home things everyday! What you can do now is take digital pictures as backup, I have been meaning to do that, and take my own advice lol.

taking digitals is a good idea. would take up a lot less room. i've actually done it but just of the things she did on the aqua doodle mat (it's drawn with water so it fades). the first picture she drew that actually looked like something was on that so i ran to get my camera. it was a drawing of her. and it was so cute. i later had it tattood on my back with her name under it. so glad i had thought of taking a pic of it.

I've kept quite a lot f the kids art but with 3 kids it hard to keep up as all they seem to do is paint, draw and glue things. I have a box full in the attic that's growing weekly, I don't keep everything as the attic would be full and my partner would have a heart attack Lol as he thinks I keep a way too much anyhow.

Its a great idea to keep your kids artwork but you dont have to keep every single thing. Just the favorites. My mom kept the favs for me and I used to love looking at them growing up. Its a great thing to do for your daughter.

I keep almost all of her art projects from school and most of them that she does at home too. I started by dating them and sticking them in a folder but then moved them into a binder with the platic sheets like you do. I keep all the drawings my niece and nephew do for me to the same way. I love seeing how their artwork changes as they get older and think it'll be really neat when they grow up to be able to sit down with them and show them all what they did and how creative they were when they were little.
