| Are Daisy Rock acoustic-electric guitars any good? | | | | I'm trying to decide between an Ibanez and a similar looking Daisy Rock guitar. I have small hands so I'm looking for a slightly thinner neck. I know Ibanez basses have thinner necks and their guitars seem to be built the same way. Can any women give me a review on Daisy Rock's stuff? | | | | | | | | | | Hey Blues Guy Wanna See How To Play A Great Blues Solo With Only 4 Notes? Here's How BluesGuitarUnleashed.com

| | It does help thank you. BTW, sorry for deleting your friend request before. I hit delete on accident because I'm so used to deleting random people. Anyhoo, I looove Ibanez basses because the transition is smooth from the head stock to the neck (easy sliding) and because of the thin neck. I noticed on Musician's Friend that the neck on this one Ibanez acoustic-electric guitar looked just like my bass's neck. I live about an hour away from the nearest music store and haven't had the time to try anything out. Thanks for your opinion, it really helped and I think I'll go ahead and get that purdy blue starburst Ibanez AE model from MF. BTW, since your hands are so small, how did you adjust to playing F and B chords? Just curious because I still have a hard time hitting those with my avg-sized hands. Was there a trick to it? Thanks :D | | | | filmbuff (1336)

| | I think you will be happy with it, the last ibanez accoustic I played, played like an electric guitar. BTW before you order from musicians friend, check out http://www.music123.com they usually have better prices and I've never had any problems with them. As for playing the tricky chords it just takes practice. I have a degree in classical guitar performance, so not only did I have to play all kinds of funky chords, I had to do it on a neck thats a good 2-3 inches thicker. ;) | | | | | | | Hey Blues Guy Wanna See How To Play A Great Blues Solo With Only 4 Notes? | | I too like Ibanez'es, but I most recently am having fun with a cheap Washburn I picked up in a pawn shop. I can attest that hand size is a limiting factor, as mine are about the average of a woman, and it still hurts my wrist after 27 years of playing to make an "F". | | | | | | | | | | Top Classical Guitar -57% Compare prices now and save up to 57% on quality Classical Guitar! www.Classical-Guitar.news72.com | add comment | | | |
