OWED MONEY - It's still makeing me croos - continued

Thank-you for the support, it's costing £120 to trey and get the £2045 back, so far we have £1500 so the court now has to recover £665. I'm not sure of the comparison either but basically it was 4 weeks wages for a self employed builder, if that helps. I like the idea of finding somewhere to complain to like a business bureau. Plumers in Englad tend to do, pipes for water, fit showers, cookers and fires, they are well paid and have to give certificatess of safety etc when they have worked for you on any gas appliance. It is 10 years in prison if you do it yourself, of course if you kill someone with faulty work it can be a lot more. The origional plumber didn't leave a certifate or a bill, but apparently Flash paid hi £54 for 1/2 hours work. He cannot get a bill or cert and as the oven wouldn't slide in properly, Flash then re-did it himself. He told us and the client has told us this aswell. The client is not happy, luckily he is not living in the bungalow so hasn't tried the gas yet, he's trying to sort the bill out before he decided what to do about the gas problem.

Hi Grandpa Bob, I'm usually quite laid back but this really made me cross. Shrek usually gets my cousin work and we have helped him financially many times. Last year he got a job that he couldn't cope with and begged for help, Shrek gave up other work, paying someone to do it for his own client and we cancelled a holiday to help him out. 5 weeks work and only 1 paid for. He blamed the client and lied about payments he had recieved and not passed on. We have had to take my own cousin to court to try and get the cash as we even had to have Christmas dinner at Shreks mums as there was no food money. We have recieved some money now from the client but he won't pay the remainder until My stupid cousin gives him a proper bill with materials etc listed so he can see what he is paying for. The client has accepted Shreks details but until Flash gets a bill sorted out is unwilling to part with more money. It's not easy doing Christmas with no cash because the person Shrek helps most is my thieving cousin who is now trying to turn the family against us, as we are unreasonably asking for money we should have had months ago. It's unpleasant to say the least and he is telling people how he has helped us and Shrek isn't doing well (he works 7 days most weeks as he is so buzy) and how we are being ungrateful.

Yep, you got it, he now has until 19 March to work out a defense for not paying us, he doesn't know about the client payin us yet and I intend to let him stew. I have informedthe court of the payment and where it came from. If someone uses the hob and there is an explosion or a gas leak Flash will be in BIG trouble, just working on gas without certificates is around 10 years in prison so we were told. Of course if he kills someone..... We do know he has no public liability insurance so he could really learn a lesson, what an idiot!

Hi, thanks for that, it's hard not defending yourself when you are right but I just can't be bothered with the family all jumping aboard as the excuse for a scrap, especially as I'm not sure whose side they will fall on. His defence is, it was christmas, the ub and his mortgage needed him more than our kids needed presents and christmas dinner, lol. He still hasn't managed to work out a proper billl for the client. He now has until 19 March to work out a defense, lol.
