I don't mean to be rude or sound like I don't care but the US can't solve everyone's problems all at once. It would be smarter for us to pull out of Iraq and help those starving people but you're right they want the oil. What I really want the US to do is to solve our problems at home. We have starving people in the US too. Someone really needs to take care of this Mugabee though.

Quite certain we done the wrong thing entering Iraq especially with the porkies we were told by our goverment, and the result is what some people fore told.Mugabe would have been a better move.

There has to be politics of some sort. Bet you that if he has some nuke sitting around we would be knocking on his door getting into his business then. Being in power since 1980 means that it would hard to get rid of him. We don't hear about this on our news that I listen to. Sure feel for the people that cannot overthrow him as would be right. Wonder who the next leader would be and if he would be any better in that region?

I can't tell you how disappointed I am with Robert Mugabe. I remember when he came to power. There was great hope that things would change for the better.
He has turned into nothing more than a corrupt dictator of the worst kind.
The people of Zimbabwe (please correct my spelling} have one of the shortest life spans in the world.
He has messed up their agriculture. That is why the people are starving.
He is just one of the worst people on earth. He is one we should violently remove from office.
Just my opinion.

Many atrocities in Africa seem to be overlooked that would be headline news were they to happen elsewhere. Sudan is another example.

Here's why, because if we do get involved and do the right thing, then there will be all of these "activist" types telling the US to stay out of foreign affairs, and it's ironic, because these people who claim to care so much about other, poorer countries, are the people keeping the US out of foreign affairs.
There is a double standard in the US and that is why we don't do anything, anyone remember a little place called Iraq, we tried to do a good thing there but the media and complainers twisted it into something horrible and call Bush a murderer, who is no more a murderer than CLinton, who was allowing Hussein to kill off his own people without a second whim. No more a murderer than any one of use who sees someone in need and does absolutely nothing, keeps driving by, content with their own happy little world, callous to all thoughts lest they concern themselves.
