Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus

Has anybody read this book lately? I have read this quite a while back. It tries to explain, in a tongue-in-cheek way, the differences in how men and women think and feel. I thought it was a good book, because, yes, men and women do think and act differently.
What are your opinions regarding this book and its ideas?

It helps how to understand both genders not only as couple but as friends,coworkers.

If I am right Venus is considered as planet of love and Mars is considered as the planet of strength. One of the reason Men are said from Mars is to show the masculity of the men and Women are said to be from Venus might be to show their passion of love. Another reason in which the Men are from Mars and Women are from Venus is said because might be difrerence in opinions they have.
