I enjoyed the original CSI the most but of late the quality has definitely deteriorated. I've watched CSI Miami with no real regularity over the last few years and became more interest in that version. I've just watched a couple of episodes of CSI New York this season and am enjoying that one the most right now. With the original CSI I don't like the way they are dripping Grissom and Sarah's "relationship" throughout this season yet doing nothing. With CSI Miami I was disheartened when they killed of Speedle since he was my favourite character and although I've watched many episodes since of the remaining characters there is no one that I relate to. Since I've only just begun to watch CSI New York I don't have any back story and just judge each show on it's own merits. That seems to be what I'm enjoying the most.

My favorite is CSI Las Vegas. I love the way the team there works. How they interact with each other really makes the show work. My next would be Miami. I don't care that much for New York. It's gotten better then it was originally but it still seems to be missing something.

It's actually pretty funny how when I first began watching the CSI series of shows I was a regular watcher of the Miami one with Horatio. I never really gave the original Las Vegas one a chance for quite some time and I know for a fact that the New York one wasn't even interesting when it first came on television.. At least for me quite honestly. I think it was something about Horatio that really attracted me to that certain series. It's also because there was one actor who used to be on another show I watched called Roswell that only lasted three seasons. It was not until quite a while later that I gave the Las Vegas one a chance and it really impressed me. I also have finally seen a couple episodes of the NY version and I must admit, it's not as bad as I thought it was either. I began watching CSI Miami when it first came on mainly because my parents were watching it at the time. I slowly got hooked on watching the show and then noticed there was the one actor who plays Eric Delko. He was on another show that I really enjoyed called Roswell so it was kind of good to see a familiar face. I liked his character on Roswell so it was another reason to give CSI Miami a chance. I really got to liking the show a lot that it was the only one I ended up watching. I think I might have seen the odd episode of the Las Vegas one but it might have been more background noise than anything. It just never really interested me whenever it was on. I didn't find the characters all that interesting and the stories I saw were just boring so it gave me plenty of reasons not to watch. Then along came CSI NY on the tails of CSI Miami. I don't even think I gave it much thought to start following this one because in all honesty, I thought it was going to be the one that didn't make it. I figured that by them putting out three CSI shows it was really going to dilute the talent and the storylines the writers could do. How I was wrong about that one. I was watching television on a Wednesday night not too long ago and I saw an intro to CSI NY that just kind of grabbed a hold of me and didn't let go. This one guy was trying to climb the Empire State Building and he fell off. When he hit the part of the building where his body landed all you could see was blood splatter everywhere. It was kind of morbidly interesting and it made me watch the rest of the episode. Now, I don't follow any of these three shows on a regular basis but I can say for the episodes of this NY one that I have seen, I've been impressed. I also can say the same of the Las Vegas one as well. I used to talk to my other half about how I never found it interesting and that it was the worse of the two out at the time. Obviously CSI NY was not out then. It was not until I actually gave a few episodes a chance and got rid of my prejudgment of the show did I realize it wasn't as bad as I thought. The shows were well thought out and there were many intelligent and somewhat surprising twists in the episodes I had seen. I also found some of the characters to be rather intriguing as I watched the show more often. In conclusion, I'd like to say here that I should have been more open minded to the idea of CSI branching off into a CBS franchise. I didn't like the idea at first because they were doing with CSI what NBC did with Law & Order. Anyways, after finally giving them both a chance I realized that all three shows were pretty good. The stories were half decent and I always like a good story. They all had pretty interesting characters as well and I like a show that has a wide variety of characters on it. All in all the CSI shows have all managed to impress me in some way or another! . . Thanks for allowing me to share! xx

I've always watched and loved Las Vegas. I watched the other two when they first started but could never manage to get involved in them. I just didn't find the cast as compelling nor was the general chemistry their between the characters. Admittedly, probably a bit harsh on the shows as they were just starting but if I can't get involved in a show in the first few weeks that is generally the end for me. I love Vegas as I love how the cast interact with each other and generally how the team works to solve their cases.

All of them I love, each version has it's own style. Which makes each one of them very unique and very good to watch and follow the series. Plus the cast of each series has their own personalities and have different lives that they're facing.

I do not look at him, Lost is enough to me and 24, too much I do not like tv. My boyfriends follows him CSI Las vegas, the screenplay he prefer because, but he often happens to see also the others, him the TV eats it every day, too

i like Las Vegas and New York. New York i liked because of gary sinise. he comes off well as a cop who've been with the marines before. you feel his being an ex-soldier in the tamed Mac of CSI. for Las Vegas, i like Grissom with his character being a detailed and delicate scientist working for the police and heading CSI. for Miami, i really don't know what to make of the character of Horacio. his head is always tilted and talking in a distinct manner. but it really doesn't make his character more appealing or whatever. he even comes off as fake.

Definitely Vegas, with Miami coming up a close second. I a hooked on CSI now, and watch them all.
