Robin Williams  | |  I have posted an article about Robin Williams before and received a comment from a very grateful woman. She had said that in a time of pain and suffering, Robin Williams was the only person who could make her laugh. In my opinion, he is a genius. I think it's pretty ovbious that he loves what he does since he can't control his unstaged outburst. (That only makes him more funny) The things he can come up with in the amount of time he is has is incredible. My favorite movie is still Hook and will probably awlays will be. Not so much for the humor, but for his inner-child which I am a big fan of. I would love to meet Robin Williams! How funny would our conversation be?

YOu never see him in the scandle sheets as I call them. (Star and other gossip magazines). He is just a down to earth guy. I think it is great that he can make so many people feel at ease with his personality.

| | | 3. Willowlady (9144) | 2 years ago |  Have enjoyed Robin Williams from the Mork and Mindy days. Even on drugs he proved that he could channel his manic abilities in brilliant ways. Only in the last decade has the directors who hired him scheduled in times for him to let loose so that he was better during filming. We have him in Dvd, on broadway and play it way too often. We slowly are collecting all his movies that he is in. Jumanji is pretty good. Like him in Toys too. I don't think being a Gemini that I could be in the same room with him for very long. Hope you get what you wish for.

| | | 4. crazynurse (5648) | 2 years ago |  I too, LOVE Robin Williams. He is a virtual comic genius in my opinion. Part of Patch Adams was filmed right outside of my hometown, deep in the woods. My uncle's church had the cast/crew to their fellowship hall for lunch one day.My uncle got the pleasure of meeting Robin and said that he was a JOY in person. My uncle said that he was very polite, thanked them repeatedly for the food, and was of course...funny! In terms of his 'best' work...I have to say I really love Patch Adams and Mrs. Doubtfire! Many are starting to berate him for his drug abuse and alchol issues. However,at least he doesn't hide it, he openly admitted his issues and gets help when needed. He has never been in the tabloids as being a womanizer or that malarkey either! He speaks of loving his son dearly. Have you ever heard his monologue on baby poop? It is a riot!!!

He makes me laugh all the time, he can also make me cry (patch adams, bicentenial man). just by looking at his face, can't help but cheer up. He has this contagious smile. I love watching his movies and my favorite so far is Patch Adams. I've seen almost all of his movies (except maybe for the very old movies) but i'm planning on researching about his other movies and eventually watching them too. the latest movie of him that i've seen is "man of the year"
he's indeed "the man of every year" for me:D
