While his all time numbers are good, Joe Montana's statistics under pressure, capped with his ridiculous Superbowl stats make him the clear best quarterback of all time. 1150 yards, 70% completion % 11 TDs and 0 INTs. Simply absurd. Anyone think another quarterback comes even close?

I know there are others who say Marino, Favre, and more recently Brady are the best queaterback of all time, but I a agree with you totally. Montana is and in my opinion will always be the best quarterback to play the game.
The enjoyment of watching has dwindled since he retired. He was a dream to watch. You could really tell he loved the game and enjoyed what he was doing. He was the most calm to ever play the position. His movements were fluid. he was poetry in motion, and no one has ever come close to that.
There is simply no other quarterback I would prefer to watch or to have leading my team if I was an owner.
