I actually have three best friends. Though I like them all for the same reasons, they are all unique in their own way. They are honest caring people who care for their friends and are willing to listen, and not give unsolicited advice, but they are the first people I'd ask, if I ever wanted answers.

I have two very closed friend. We talk, we argue, we also laugh together. Those words such as " none of your business" never came out from my mouth or my friend. Because we all know that closed friends is to share your laughter and sadness but not to be bullied with words or anything. In your case, I think you treat him/her best friend, but may be he/she dont think the same.

Yes, I have a best-friend and she and I have known each other since grade one. The qualities that you ask about... well there are many, so in short words, I'll say, "She is the better half of me and she completes"

I have heard those words, 'none of your business' and 'mind your own business' but that happened when she was having a bad day and was tensed due to personal reasons. I didn't mind them because I know her inside out and I trust her. She would never hide anything from me. If she says those kinda words then I only sit besides and say nothing and give me time to cool down and open up at her own pace.

You should remember one thing, not everyone has the same qualities like you do so you should not judge people based on your own ways or actions. I mean if you don't say these things or you open up real quick then don't expect your partner to be the same way. Because if you guys were the same way then there would be really less chance that you would be best friends because believe or not 'opposites do attract' and I say this because I'm a kinda of person who gets all hot-head in a matter of seconds and opens the same way. So if I should say something bad in a foul mood then this won't mean that my friend would leave me or stop referring me as her best friend.

It doesn't work that way. These kind of relationships are delicate relationships and they have to be mutual in order to work.
