I've Never Been To Me....

That song was written by Ron Miller. The song was a big hit for Charlene in 1981 or 1982 on Motown Records. I think she was also a one-hit wonder with it also. In addition to Charlene, The Temptations also sang their own version, with some of the lyrics changed, & included it on their Reunion album. Dennis Edwards was the lead singer of that song. While I like that version a lot more, I have found it somewhat disappointing. The Reunion album was supposed to include two former Temptation members, David Ruffin & Eddie Kendricks. I do not hear Eddie nor David on that song, not even in the background.
