Meatball Recipe. | | Almost all cuisines have their own style of making and serving meatballs. Most of these use veal or pork, but some cultures also use plain mutton or even beef. In the Middle Eastern countries, lamb is most often used to make meatballs. Lean, minced lamb therefore, makes the tastiest mincemeat balls for exotic Arabian cuisine. Let's share our recipes.

The Quickest Swedish Meatball Recipe
My mother who is Swedish hates when I make this quick dish (she spends all day making Swedish Meatballs) but all the girls at work love it and always ask me to make it. I don't tell them how quick it is. Sometimes I do make my own meatballs and then throw them into the crockpot for this very quick and delicous dish. by deb k|
1 package frozen meatballs 2 cans cream of mushroom soup (you can mix and match the soups; like cream of celery, cream of chicken, golden mushroom soup, etc) 8 ounces sour cream 2 teaspoons soy sauce
Place all ingredients in a crock pot. Cook on low for at least 5 hours.
here is another recipe Family Meatball Recipe
This recipe for meatballs came from my Grandmother, who got it from her mother, etc. We use these in Lasagna, with pasta, or by themselves in sandwiches.
1 lb ground beef 2-3 cups breadcrumbs 2 eggs 1 teaspoon parsley flakes 1/2 teaspoon black pepper 2-3 pieces garlic 3/4 cup italian romano cheese 1/2 teaspoon salt 2-3 slices soaked american bread 1/2 cup canola oil
Mix in large bowl all together,. ground meat, 2 or 3 small pieces of garlic cut very fine, 1 teaspoon of parsley, 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper, 2-3 pieces of American bread that was squeezed (after it was put in water) (or just a little water), 2 or 3 cups of breadcrumbs, 3/4 cup of Romano cheese, 1/2 teaspoon of salt. Form in round or oblong meatballs about 1" in diameter. Fry in medium-hot oil in frying pan. Typically I set the burner to 4 on an electric stove or low on a gas stove. Fry meatballs (5 or 6 at a time) in the pan until they are browned (not blackened). It takes a bit of practice to cook them just right. Serve with tomato sauce, pasta, or however else you wish.

lena2000 (1445) | 3 years ago | Chinese Pork Meatballs
You need:
500 grams minced pork 1 red pepper, seeded and diced 1 green pepper, seeded and diced 2 courgettes, trimmed and diced 4 baby corn, halved lengthwise 2 tbsp fresh coriander, chopped 2 garlic cloves, chopped 1 inch piece of root ginger, minced Fresh ground black pepper 4 tbsp light soy sauce 1 tsp sesame oil
Mix together the pork mince, the coriander, half the garlic and 1 tbsp soy sauce.
Divide into 25 portions and roll into balls. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes. Then deep fry these balls in a wok, for about 10 minutes, rolling them over occasionally so they are browned on all sides.
With a slotted spoon, remove the balls and drain on a paper.
In the oil in the wok, add the remaining garlic and ginger and stir fry 30 seconds. Add the peppers; stir fry for another 5 minutes. Then add the sweet corn and courgettes and fry for another 3 minutes. Now put the meatballs into the wok with the rest of the vegetables. Add the sesame oil and stir fry everything together, tossing and mixing well.
Serve on a bed of fresh noodles

| | 4. babyhar (1323) | 3 years ago | Wow, I know I am always looking for new meatball recipes to try out. As sometimes having to make the same one all of the time can become rather tiresome. I've looked over a lot of some of the recipes a lot of you had enclosed & they all sound so very different.. Yet rather yummy also at the same time.
I enclosed the recipe below that I love making quite often. I know I always serve these meat balls with spaghetti, & a variety of different spaghetti sauces. I hope if anyone decides to try this recipe that they like it as much as we have around our house! Also thanks to everyone who decided to include some rather interesting recipes that I may keep in mind for next time I make meat balls! . . Thanks for allowing me to share! xx
"Italian Meatballs."
Ingredients are as follows:
- 3/4 of a lb. of lean ground beef
- 1/4 of a lb. of ground pork
- 1/4 of a lb. of ground sweet sausage
- 1/2 of a diced up onion
- 2 or three dashes of worcestershire sauce
- 2 or 3 cloves of garlic, minced
- 3/4 of a cup of dried bread crumbs
- 1 egg
- 1 tablespoon of oil
- 1/4 of a teaspoon of dried basil
- 1 tablespoon of dried italian seasoning
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- 1/2 of a teaspoon of black pepper
- 1 pinch of crushed up red pepper
- You can also add 1/4 of a lb of veal but I personally prefer not to. So it all depends upon each person & what they prefer
Directions are as follows:
- Take a large mixing bowl. First beat the egg then place all of the ingredients in to the bowl afterwards. Using your hands, mix all of the ingredients together. Then form all of this in to balls. Make them a lot larger then a golf ball.
- Then take a large skillet & heat two tablespoons of oil inside. Then brown the four balls at a time. Make sure to turn constantly.
- Clean the skillet if necessary as you are going through with the browning purpose. Then start all over again with clean oil.
- Place all of the meatballs you had made in sauce & then simmer for 2 hrs. or at least until cooked through. Serve meat balls with rice on the side. And maybe even a salad as well. ENJOY! xx
