personally i hate dogs with a passion. I often wonder how people manage to keep them not just as pets but as friends becos i believe a dog can never be completely tamed. it still bite the owner when hurt. or what do you think?

not all dogs bite their owners.. more owners are cruel to their dogs !!! I have had dogs all my life, different breeds, and have never, ever been bitten by a dog. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion.. I personally don't care for cats. I don't hate them..just don't care for them. BUT don't think all dogs bite their owners just because you don't like dogs.

she is a Golden Retriever, they are a friendly breed with very little agression. She has been in stressful situations, like moving, around other dogs, other animals, etc. She is so sweet & gentle, she doesn't even bark !! Only when we hug each other in front of her and ignore her...lol. I have had dogs all my life, different breeds, in all kinds of situations, and have never been bitten once !! However I did get bitten and scratched by a domestic cat once, and ended up in the hospital with a swollen hand (cat scratch fever)

It's not that bad if you keep a dog as a pet. You may treat him as your companion. I admit that you cannot completely tame a dog but you can train them to be one.
