I have received some of those from the UK, and live in the USA. I do not bother with them, as I know that they are some sort of scam of some sort. I just block and delete them. There is no reason that I would win them, as I do not play any of those games or lottery's on line. I think that is a way for them to get into your bank account. Be careful my friend.

I know it's a scam - I would never respond to it- was just curious to see if the folks in the UK got them from the USA as we seem to get them from the UK.

LOL - well I would hurry up and claim it if I were you:-)) This offer won't last for ever! No - seriously - yes - we do - some purporting to come from the US, others from various Swiss banks in euros, and countless spam emails from Nigeria, and Liberia!! I had one only the other day that actually was meant to be from here in the UK - from our very own, and much respected Barclays Bank, but somehow they had forgotten that we deal in £ here, not $, which was a bit of a giveaway that it was a fake!!! I can honestly never beleive that anyone is gullible enough to be taken in by this type of ****, but sadly they say there is one born every minute, so I guess some people do get taken in, or it wouldn't be worth the spammers' time to keep on doing these things!

Funny i never get them from the USA just from UK and Nigeria- guess they figure we can't possibly know for sure whether its true or not if it's from another country. My friend works for the government- i had told him I was gonna play stupid and respond to it and see what happens - he said not to because people have gotten hurt and worse for responding then changing their minds about going through with it, he said they are called 419's for the law that was passed about it. Needless to say I never tried contacting them.

I got many like that from the UK Lottery. My husband is English but he left 18 yrs ago and his family wouldn't play lottery using his name LOL so how the hell we won it? then it asked for bank a/c number to send the winning money. I told them well send it by cheque, registered mail or something since I wouldn't just give away our bank a/c # like that. Then they never sent me anything anymore LOL downright spam!

I live in Canada now, although I was born and brought up in the UK, and I get these spam emails all the time. It drives me crazy! I've never once given any of the information they asked for, nor would I be stupid enough to. They could use that information for identity theft. I also get ones supposedly from Banks telling me that my account may have been hacked and so has been suspended, makes me laugh cuz I've never had an account with any of those banks.

Ignore them I get them to and I just delete them. They go in my Spam Folder and they get deleted. There is one similar to this from Yahoo as well and I ignore that one to.
