I don't have any life-long friendship, except with my cousins because we know each other from childhood. Other friends are for certain period. Though they can still be called friends, no regular/frequent contacts with them. How is your experience?

I do have a life long friend...her name is Angie and we grew up together. she is about 6 months younger than me and our parents even lived together for a while when were toddlers. We went to school together, graduated together, everything. Now, I really can't say she's my "best" friend since we hardly see each other or talk to each other. We are both busy and have different interests and thoughts about life. BUT, when we do get together--about once a year or so--it's like we never left each other. We have do much fun and we don't feel awkward and strange. It's just like we have always hung out and been together.

You described it very interestingly. Best wishes to Chaygylmommy and Angie. Let your friendship be strong for years.

I dont have any life long friendships and I wish I did. I often think about my best friends that I had in high school and wish now that I would have kept in contact with them. But I didnt. I have a friend whos been my friend for about 7years now and we are good friends and Im grateful for that. Always cherish your friends.
