Shaking and shaking

There is a quake in Sumatra. Here in Singapore, we are experiencing slight tremors in few areas. I received a phone call - Run, the whole office have left. I was surprised? Where can one run to if there is a real quake?

Maybe you just run for a place that can shield you from falling objects? Because you have a good point - would anybody be able to run fast enough to find solid ground not affected by the tremors? Probably not.

I think it's pretty safe in Singapore. If I run out of a building, likely it's just a safety precaution - just that - not that I would really expect anything to happen. As for the case of your office, it's probably a case of "stop working, it's now time for a holiday." :P
