They said it's Post-Partum Depression or PPD. But we've seen her do strange stuffs prior to the birth of her first born. Only now, it seems she has reached the rock bottom. That whats happening is no longer just a publicity stunt, but, a real cry for help. The public and media feeds on these kind of news. Yes, we love seeing them get married, have kids, recieve awards and accolades. But nothing gave us the high from seeing these glamorous stars-whom we envy for seemingly having all the things we want and can never have- fall flat on their face. We want to know their imperfections and we enjoy it whenever the media magnifies it. One thing is sure, though. The woman needs a lot of help and understanding and space. Allow her to commit mistakes. Let's not judge her for it. Let her learn from it. But that doesn't mean we should leave her hanging. Just let her feel her pain and not add to it. She'll be fine. Soon, she'll hit the stage one more time.

I think you are right in your assessment of her need to be able to make mistakes, just like any other human being. I hadn't thought about the postpartum depression issue, but if she had been unpredictable and a little flighty before, adding big hormone swings to the mix can't have good results. I really think that she is probably done as a public figure outside of the media talking about her latest melt down. At least she had a career that, if she invested wisely, should support her for the rest of her life. I don't think she has much career left.

I actually feel so sorry for her, this is such a big sign of a girl that is in alot of pain. She really needs help and people need to leave her alone for a while and give her time and space so that she can find her way back to life again - if we don“t i am afraid that it will have a very tragic end. I have never been a fan of britney, music or person - however she is a person and deserves to be treated as one!
