Preview Your Responses etc.

Okay now that I have this great copy/paste feature it does seem great as I just had troubles trying to submit a response. Now I had never used the preview feature before this. I tried 3 times to submit this response & was getting irritated. I even contacted myLot right away. My bad. LOL. Anyhow after taking a friends suggestion I used it & found out I had a word that was censored. Luckily I have the copy/paste feature. Anyhow I highly suggest that you use this "preview" feature before you hit the submit button. It'll save some time I'm sure in the long run. Thanks all for allowing me to vent & offer a bit of advice here.

Thanks for this post. I too had this problem when I used the signs above ',' and '.' instead of '()'. I contacted mylot and they said that something like HTML code is not accepted. Some others of my posts too went blank but I don't remember and also don't think that I used a banned word.
I don't use preview feature now for I am too miser to upload a new page (LOL) but if you tell how is it profitable in long terms, I'll like to oblige. FOr now, I duly read my posts before submitting them, without any problem.

Funny thing is that the word is not classified as a word that should not be censored. I wouldn't be overly concerned if my 5 or 7 year old grandsons used it. I may wonder the use of it but it's not a bad word at all. Too funny. Thanks for the response though. Have a great day.

i use this preview feature most of the time but on few occasions i let it go!;)i also faced this problem of censored word while i was replying to someone's post but luckily i used preview that time so didn't had to write whole reply again. thanx for ur posts on the behalf of those newbies who aren't very well acquainted with the functonings of mylot.:)

I use the preview button because I like to see what it is actually going to look like. I think that is a good thing that they have and I am sure that there are a lot of people who like it. I always copy before I hit the preview button so I don't lose what I have put in my discussion and end up having to start again. Venting is also what this site is about. It helps to get it off your chest. While also getting some good responses to your venting.

I've learned to use that preview button now. I also copy it all now. Well the short comments or responses I don't worry too much about. Thanks for the response too.
