what is really the work of an social worker?

I am working at a hospital , year 2005 , I graduated as a BSSocial worker and gladly i then passed the examination of board.. After that i was challenge to look for a job, and Dr Uy hospital hired me as their medical social worker...
I really don't know what s the job description of this jobb for i didnt experienced working in the hospital..huhuhuu...
I am so pressured for I don't know what to do...
Believing that I can make it...for two yrs..i am still working in the hospital still searching and realizing what is really my job....

I think the job of a social worker is soliciting money,asking donations from rich people,from the government and other concerned citizens or group..then after you have the money,you use it for the project in benifet of the poor,wether you work in a government or NGO's.
