Encyclopedia posters

I've heard my mom talk about it, but I just though "what's so bad about that?" Now I can see how annoying it is.
I search high and low for an interesting topic. I find one and start reading responses. Then I see someone's post who seem to really know what they are talking about. I'm impressed... I click on their link to learn more about them, and anticipate possibly making a new friend. And what do I see?!?!? "So how big of a bubble can you blow with Bazooka gum??" or "I cut myself with a chainsaw and my dog ran down the street with my arm. What do you think I should do???" Hmm... Not the IQ I first thought...
Some of our myLot community choose to cut and paste an encyclopedia instead of giving their own viewpoints. If I wanted to go read an encyclopedia, I'd go read an encyclopedia! I'm finding this to be... kind-of annoying. Anyone else??

Can you report that?? Even right after posting this discussion, I went on to read some others and found 2 more encyclopedias. I admit (shh...) I haven't read the rules for MyLot, so I figured that was just something we all had to deal with. But if we can report them , GREAT!! I don't even bother responding to a discussions if there's a page of an encyclopedia in it. What's the point, there's nothing more I could say that isn't there already.

I also hope they investigate. I would hate to report someone who really DIDN'T do that, but most are pretty obvious!!

I really started laughing at your fake discussion topics! You have a great imagination! I couldn't stop laughing. At least your ideas were interesting! Some days are like that. I'm not sure why...and I find I can't always come up with a good idea either! I do the same thing, though...I go and check out their profile and sometimes you find some really quirky things! LOL

Hmmm... maybe I should try one of those as a discussion topic and see how many bites I get. Especially the second one, it's much more interesting.
