Celebritys and Special treatment

I have always wonderd why, when a celeb goes into a shop they get given stuff for free??? everyone knows they can afford itso why do the owners give away free stuff and loose out, i suppose the celeb would be wearing you clothes so its a way of advertising but they still should pay.
