I think a lot of them stoppped practising when they left medical school. Now they have become pen pushers and all they do is write letters referring us to consultants. At times it is even difficult to get them to write the letter.

Yeah and then if they do write the letter...you can't read it 'cause they never took penmanship...lol

I think that doctors are sorely lacking over all. Some are gifted surgeons etc. General Doctors need more training with nutrients and wellness thoughts. Now they treat the symptom and don't really delve into the cause.
They almost killed my hubby. Thank goodness for me and a good diet. Some yogurt gave him back the good bacteria in his body that the doctors killed all off. They could not even figure that out and sent him home a second time without a way for him to feel better.
None of the doctors knew when I would be ready to have a baby, have not had a baby in the bed yet and not by a doctor. Go figure.
So we are not fans at all of doctors.

Unfortunately, this view of placebo medicine is very much out of fashion today. Most doctors want nothing to do with placebos, favoring instead 'real'
