i have a small black dot as birth mark in right side of my face.. And also in my left leg..

Yes, I have one on my face, right above my nose. My parents said it used to be red, too just like your nephew's, but it faded at completely. Now no one can really notice and it looks like a small scar. I have two on the scalp of my head. They are pretty small, and light brown in color. My hair pretty much hide them and no one really notices them. Have a nice day.

hi, there i was saying that it fades as you grow older. you are one of the witnesses to consider. i was checking my nephew's birthmark and i've seen it fades a little but his mom never believes me.. oh well, i just consider i am wrong. thank you for the reply. :)

I don't seem to have any birthmarks on me. I had a student who had a large brown birthmark on part of her face. When I had her as a student in high school it did not seem to bother her. In fact, she had a boyfriend.

birthmarks or scars may look us ugly but still we can see the goodness of people in their hearts. your student may have birthmark and it doesn't create a negative factor for her in having a boyfriend.. good to know that! but i've heard the more you get older , the birthmark decrease in size.. i just dont know if its true.. thank you!:)

hi there, hmnnn... lucky you having a light birthmarks. others showing a big brown color on their face.. but there was also a red color which for me is cute.. especially if your skin is really white. thanks for replying..

Everyone in my family has birth marks I think they can be hereditary sometimes. I have one on my leg that is the biggest and one on my back that resembles a byte mark, someone even thought it was a tattoo once lol. Mine aren't too noticeable or badly placed so I am OK with them.

I have a small biege one on my elbow. I didn't even realize it until I was 30 years old. I kept trying to clean my elbow, and then realized it was a birthmark.

Yes, I have a birthmark, right at the top of my left leg. It's not noticed often but when I used to play a game called stoolball, and wear a short tennis-like skirt, some people would remark that I had a bruise on my leg.
They can be embarrassing but I try to keep it well covered these days. lol.

hi, oftentimes birthmarks are mistakenly identified as bruises. good you can still cover yours. but its ok, you can advise people that it was a birthmark. :)

I have a birthmark on my hip , it is not anyone sees as it is hidden . My nephew has a birthmark on his face also and when he was younger the younger children that would see him always thought he had juice on his face as it is around his nose . The older he has got thought the more it has faded and now it is not all that noticable .
They do say though that we are all born with birthmarks weather you can see them or not , some people have them in their hair or other places you wouldn't think of looking for them . I have only found one on one of my children and have not found any on the other children so if this is true I don't know where they are .

was it true? all people are born with birthmarks? how come i think i dont have it? or maybe it is just unnoticeable due to color of my skin. hmnn.. let me check my body once again :)

Yes, I have birthmarks.. Two actually. One in my left face.. it's not so clear but it's like a light brown spot and it has fine hair in it. I also have one under my chest. it's also light brown.

well,my son has a birhmark on his left ankle,u know what,his granny thought it was some dirt(cuz her eyesight is poor):),then she found it was a mistake.

my dad has red birth mark type of patches on his one leg . Myself I have one on my left side of my neck and one near my rib cage.I think it common for many people to have them.
