Does double sided shaving (against the growth) affect hair growth?

Shaving will most likely make the hair coarser. The only way that the hair won't become coarser is if you wax rather than shave. Although, waxing can be very painful. There are also some other products you can use to get rid of unwanted hair, such as nair.
