I think communication is both ways.. in order to let the other party feel comfortable enough to open you, you probably will have to take the initiative to do that first.. My ex bf used to say that i'm really closed up when it comes to sharing my feelings in the relationship and i think a lot of times, it's cos we're kinda afraid of how the other party is gonna react.. but i think it's always good to have an open communication than to have to guess your way through each other's mind cos that can be quite draining and it's not healthy for the relationship.. Hope this helps! =)

thank you for sharing!
some say, dont go on a date prepared. prepared in the sense, mentally you note what to answer to certain questions he may ask. like if he asked what music you like, you have a prepared answer. it becomes very... rigid? and when he pops a question that catches you off guard you go lost.
yes communication is important. one side has to be prepared to feel comfortable bout it all, and the other would have to ensure that is being done ! :P

Yup i agree.. some try too hard while others are too relaxed.. if that person really means something to you, then you will at least wanna make the effort to make things work and communication is the ONLY way to go about it.. Once the communication is open, then trust will also come into the relationship =)
