Nanny McPhee...cute movie

I have not seen it. I have not even heard of it. What is it about? what is it rated?

I was really impressed with "Nanny McPhee," and found it last year's more underrated family films. It did well at the box-office, but I continue to be amazed that the "techno" films make huge amounts of money even when not well done, while you have to market films such as this one masterfully to get a decent box-office. "Bridge to Terabithia" is another film you should see...it has a similar sweetness to it that you should love. Emma Thompson wrote a wonderful script here and beautifully plays the lead role. This is a great family view as it's interesting enough to please most age groups.

We watched this movie a couple months ago when we got it on the cable pay channels. It was very enjoyable. We laughed and hey even I cried a bit at the end. hehe

I really enjoyed it too - and I cried too. I'm a big blubber too :) I thought it was a really cute. I just recently ordered it and I am anxious to watch it again. The story line was really good and the kids did a fantastic job. My hubby loves to give me crap for loving kids movies - we don't have kids - but I enjoy these family movies.

Thank you for reminding of that movie ! When I had seen the trailers a little while ago, I remember that I had told myself that it woud be a great movie to rent later on since it looked cute ... and then I forgot about it ... but now I need to rent it very soon !! LOL and since you say it is a good movie, I will have to convince hubby ... LOL
