Some days a motivational quote can provide a quick pick-me-up for all. They can be a breath of fresh air when it comes to a drab afternoon.
"The only way to get people to like working hard is to motivate them. Today, people must understand why they're working hard. Every individual in an organization is motivated by something different." --Rick Pitino
Mahatma Gandhi: You must be the change you wish to see in the world.
Les Brown: You must remain focused on your journey to greatness.
Theodore Roosevelt Far and away the best prize that life offers is the chance to work hard at work worth doing.
Charles F. Kettering: Where there is an open mind, there will always be a frontier
Henry Ford: Whether you think you can or whether you think you can't, you're right!
Jim Rohn: You must either modify your dreams or magnify your skills.
William Hazlitt: Who likes not his business, his business likes not him.
Le Iacocca: Management is nothing more than motivating other people.
Max Schmelling: Why did I want to win? Because I didn't want to lose!
Pierre Corneille: To win without risk is to triumph without glory.
James Broughton: The only limits are, as always, those of vision.
Johann Wolfgang Von Goeth: To think is easy. To act is difficult. To act as one thinks is the most difficult.
Spanish Proverb: Tomorrow is often the busiest day of the week.
Lyndon B. Johnson: The noblest search is the search for excellence
Chinese Proverb: The miracle is not to fly in the air, or to walk on the water; but to walk on the earth.
Your input much awaited. Thank you

I have always been told 'If you want to excel ,you must do what you love.' That is the only way to not feel like you are working.Once the 'feeling' of work is out of the equation we can enjoy our work. What we enjoy always motivates us.I was reading a chapter on motivation. It said a worker in a company is at four different levels of efficiency and motivation-
Motivated inefficient-This is when he joins the company and is excited about his new job , but isn't effective yet,not knowing how to contribute towards the growth of the company.
Motivated efficient-This is when he has learned his business and is motivated about his performance. He is always trying to over deliver because he loves his work.
Demotivated efficient-At this point he knows exactly what is expected of him by the company and he does just that much to keep drawing his salary and stay on the boat.
Demotivated inefficient-He is no more interested to contribute towards the company. It's the same old drill and he is going through the motions.
The leaders suggest that the performances should be incentivized at the second level so the employee stays motivated. When he gets rewarded justly for his performance ,then he can present himself as an example to his colleagues who'd feel as motivated to see what they could be.
Indeed, Good management and leadership is the ability to know to motivate people.
