4. rossdcurran (105) | 2 years ago | I like most of his songs, what interested me was the song 'I'll Be Your Baby Tonight' it was years after Dylan wrote it he realised people thought it was written from a baby's point of view. This impressed me. I love Changing of the guards, I alwayed thought it was almost like a lulabye

9. farmboss1 (857) | 1 year ago | wow ..he is incredible...he has so many great songs and i am sure there are plenty that i never heard...he has been so powerful in the anti-war movements of the past, but it seems like today the powers that be are censoring these heroes of the past...he and the bands of the 60's were, and will always be my heroes...!

farmboss1 (857) | 1 year ago | 1 of bob dylans role models was,WOODY GUTHRIE,who was arlo guthrie's father. woody was was a folk singer during the great depression,he sang about the plight of the common man during those hard times and was said to be a great inspiration to dylan, along with PETE SEEGER..! and of course, big business along with the diplomats of those times did not appreciate the lyrics of these great men..! the lyrics usually depicted how government and big business were robbing the common people..! i can say 1 thing...we sure need them here now...these powers that run this country have caged everybody up again and it looks it might be for good this time... i know back in the 60's...these musicians were so powerful that they and... "we common folk"..managed to impeach NIXON...even though the next thief came along and gave NIXON amnesty...we sure shook those creeps up...! and we need them now...!

| VegieDactyle (35) | 11 months ago | He's probably the most prolific singer/songwriter ever if you go by 'artists performing their own songs'. I love most of his songs before 1980 or so, and even a lot of those after, but to me there is one of his songs that stands out: "One Too Many Mornings" it says a lot about the human conditions in few words and it sounds so timeless. It could've been written yesterday or five hundred years ago... I guess everyone has a line that makes them connect with a song and in this case, for me, this is the one: 'it's a restless hungry feeling that does no one no good' I don't remember ever seeing another line that so concisely describes unrequited love in so few words.
