My boyfriend absolutly loves this holiday. he gets more excited about st. patricks day than he does his birthday or Christmas! isnt that crazy? So we are going to go to a festival on Saturday to celebrate his favorite holiday. What is your favorite holiday? Or what are your plan for st patricks day, if any?

I agree St Patrick's day is great, especially if you are irish or have irish friends, the irish really know how to party. I live in Australia now and love Australia day which is in January and as it's so warm at that time of the year here, there are so many things to do. People have barbeques and go watch the boats on Sydney harbour, there are picnics and festivals, I could go on and on, It's just a brilliant day where everyone is in good spirits. Oh I forgot to mention Australia Day is a celebration of when the first fleets arrived in Australia.

Wow this sure is an old discussion that I came across to leave a comment on. Today I had a St. Patricks day playgroup and tomorrow I am eating dinner at my mother and father house. My family has a dinner for every holiday such as Valentines day, Easter, Thanksgiving... all of them. I usually love getting together but for the past few weeks my sister and I are no longer speaking so seeing her there is going to be hard because I'm so disgusted with her I dont even want to look at her let alone spend a few hours in a house with her ugh.

I hope you can make up with your sister. You never know when will be the last time you see her. So, I can see if you do the same thing every holiday that you might not have a reason to have a favorite!
