I guess we're the only two who are talking here! Thank you for responding, and I love those songs, too. I just about choked on a laugh the first time I heard "Fist City". I could just picture her beating the tar outta some woman!

Make that three and boy there are so many i love fist city but coal miners daughter is great to. Ones on the way is also wonderful. I have all of her cd's and there is only a few songs i didn't care for. Tell me what you two think of this, She has been my idle my entire life and my sister always thought she was okay but never really thought she was all that. Recently my sister married her great nephew so that means my sister is now related to my biggest idle, go figure. Everyone except me thinks this is soooo funny. She has only met her one time so far at loretta's sister in law's funeral and Loretta told her that she needs to stop by and bring the family i guess. Anyhow, she visits her husband's granpa a few times a year and that is loretta lynn's brother. well i have babbled enough about this, tell me what you two think!!!

I don't know what anyone else thinks, but I'm jealous! If I were you, I'd be inventing reasons to meet Loretta Lynn!!!!

I don't find this amusing. Loretta Lynn is who LORETTA is. If you'd read the topic under which you post, you would know that. If this is a mean attack, then you can stick it in your corn-cob pipe and smoke it.

I forgot to mention, I did get to meet Loretta along with Burl Ives at the Sugar Can festival in Lousiana when I was little girl, she was so beautiful..dressed in a white pant suit with flowing legs, and angel wing sleeves....she is a great lady. I also have a postcard that she sent to me many years ago, that she typed out and signed herself.. i keep it in a safe place...
