Its been controversial issue all around the world that shold it be legalised or not.A person who has been suffering from a desease which can't be treated,go through huge mental and physical pain. Why to let him suffer since the result is known. Why not kill him if he wants so?
At the same time according to different religion its unlegal, since God has created the life and only He has right to take life.So whats your opinion friends?

Do you think you could do it?

Do you think you could have your brother killed because he is in pain?

I think whatever God we worship has a master plan and whatever wat he chooses for us to die is all part of the plan.

As hard as it would be to watch someone you love suffer, I think it would be harder to take their life.

I agree with your point but have you thought about that severe pain the victims suffer from. After all they deserve to be cured and if doctors don't have any treatment for them why should they suffer?

This is really a hard question to answer easily. First of all I do beleive that God knows when he is calling you home and at that time is when you will and should go. However, in todays times we are kept alive by machines and advanced medical practices. Which in some cases saves lives and in others prolongs them to the point of human suffering. Although I do feel the medical profession should be more humane in the ways in which they "give up" on a life by this I mean if you are alive by body only and your brain has no life you will need to be fed by machines and have machines breath for you. In some cases the body continues to function without the breathing tube but is still being fed through machines. When the family gives up and understands this is no life for the person they will stop feeding them. The patient will starve to death. In this case I beleive it to be more thoughtful or humane to inject the patient with drugs to end their life. How does anyone really know if they are feeling the pain of starvation. It is still killing if you ask me. So having said that I believe it does happen today within the medical practice. But as far as assisted suicide it is frowned upon. Many would do it for their animal but not for a human. It is hard to say what is right and what is wrong in this situation. And who should be the one to do it because after all it is still murder right?

I believe it should be legal. If a person is dying and it is a painful death and they wish to die comfortable and with dignity, they should have that right. And they should have the right to have a doctor or other health care professional help them with that.

it depends on the person who has to take it. if he feels that he should die he must be allowed ro do so.

I think a person should be able to die with dignity. If their illness is terminal they should have the right to die. They should discuss it with family members and if they all agree, then they should be able to. The government has way too much to say in our lives as it is.

i think this should be legalized.
But just think of case where the patient is in very long comma or unable to give his consent then is it fair for his/her relative to take decision on the patient's part? The relatives will most likely to be taking decisions because they themselves suffer seeing the patient suffer. this will not be true will of patient. this will be kind of selfishness. relative may take dicision because they themselves are tired of everyday trauma they are going through.

So EUTHANASIA should be legalized but the patient only should have right to take decision.

There has been a great deal of debate on this subject lately and court cases too. In all honesty I feel that if I were in such a state that I felt I didn't want to continue living, and I was mentally capable of making such a decision, I would rather end it all than see my family and friends suffering along with me.

If it was a member of my family, and they asked me to help them to end their suffering, I would have to say that I feel then they have the right to chose.

I feel that each individual should have the right to chose for themselves

i feel that if i had to choose between a painful death or an easier and painless death i would choose euthanasia. To be honest it would be the most painful part of my life to kill a loved one. Yes it should be legalised for the benifits of the suffering people in the world and for the those who for them this is there last hope of a peaceful ending.
