We put about 75 miles a day on our car. That is just my husband going to work and back and a little running in town. I do know that the mileage on your car could hurt your trade in value.

Since I retired and don't have to drive to work I hardly put any miles on it. That's another that people think I make mistakes about, when I have to give my milage for anything I am asked if I am sure....I may be getting old but I'm not stupid..of course I'm sure.

When I was working full time I was averaging about 30 miles a day. Some have to drive longer distances to work daily and the mileage will add up. I know high mileage hurts the resale value of the car, but keep in mind that dealers want to sell you the newer care. Don't let it stop you from checking around. They will just put your car in the auto auction anyway, most of the time that is what happens. Good luck in your auto search.

I drive 100 miles a day in an urban environment as part of my job. My personal vehicle is 6 years old and has only 35000 miles on it. I love company cars.

Thanks for marking me best. Someone loves me. What should I do with the extra penny?
